Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SOUTH AND WEST RIM 3 DAY LOS ANGELES -GRAND CANYON TOUR IN TERMS OF ITS ITINERARIES AND TOURS INCLUSION. AND ALSO THE TOUR CODE 5-233 AS WELL? ASIDE FROM THE FACT THAT EACH HAS DIFFERENT PRICE.

The South Rim of the Grand Canyon is part of the National Park system and there is not an additional admission cost to enter the South Rim.
However, the West Rim of the Grand Canyon is owned and operated by a Native American Tribe and there is additional costs to get into this Rim of the Canyon.
In addition, this Rim offers the Skywalk excursion, which is not available in the South Rim.
Tour 5-233 offers the same itinerary as the other two tours, but offers different hotel accommodations in Las Vegas while on tour, which will increase the cost of this tour in comparison to the tour for $99.00 per person.

If I have understood well, whenever there is no hotel availability within the main strip of Las vegas,you book rooms somewhere on the outskirts.......Is there always a hotel room guaranteed for us,though??? 2)In that case, will u offer transport from the hotel to the main strip of Las vegas and vice versa????If so,about what time will you transport us back to the hotel and what will be the approximate distance from the hotel to the main strip???Thanks a lot!A: |

We attempt to make bookings for the tour in Las Vegas every day the tour departs.
However, there are some Saturdays that are completely blocked out in Vegas due to conferences or large shows.
For these dates, we will have to book the tour outside of the main strip of Las Vegas.
Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do when booking the tour, as it will depend on hotel availability for your tour dates.
Since you plan to stay close to New Year's, it is more likely that the hotels will not be available on the strip.
We suggest making your reservation at least one month in advance to ensure seating.

This year the tour is available on Wednesdays and Saturdays and will most likely be the same departure days next year.
However, the 2013 availability has not yet been updated.

1. Yes, the tour does provide pickup at the Aria hotel; however, if there are not enough passengers requiring pickup at the Aria
the day of your tour, you will be redirected to the Monte Carlo Casino for pickup.
2. The Grand Canyon is beautiful all year round, we suggest you take a look at www.weather.com for the up coming forecast.
3. The must see sight for the West Rim Grand Canyon is the Skywalk. The Skywalk is a thrill.

There are no meal costs included in the price of the tour.
Unfortunately, we do not suggest this tour for customers that are over 6'2'', as the bus does not allow enough leg room for customers that are that tall.
We suggest booking a tour that uses a smaller bus, or a luxury tour bus, as they tend to offer more leg room.

Reservations for this optional excursion must be made while on tour, with your tour guide.
The total amount of time for the excursion is approximately 30-60 minutes.
Yes, you will also still be given the opportunity to participate in the Skywalk while on tour.
Please speak to your tour guide while on tour about joining the Adventure tour, as they will be best equipped to assist you with making a reservation for the flight.
